Honey and coconut oil

If you decide to go with Auburn's treatment, you'll need to buy yourself some raw honey and virgin coconut oil. I read somewhere that when dealing with seb derm, you shouldn't put anything on your face that you wouldn't put in your mouth at least at the beginning, so this combo definitely fits the bill.

The honey needs to be raw, meaning it shouldn't have been heated as any such processing removes all the beneficial properties. If you go to your local organic food store, you should find what you need. As for the coconut oil, it needs to be virgin, so that it's pure and unrefined, and be in solid form to make dosing easier. Again, you should find it in your local organic food store.

You'll see, the honey cleans the skin super gently. At the same time, it soothes redness and even gets rids of spots. As for the virgin coconut oil, it's good for moisturizing skin deep down. Some people never go back to regular store bought moisturizers apparently. That said, virgin coconut oil wasn't right for me. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a chance. I say give the virgin coconut oil 3 weeks to see how you do. If you feel like your flakes are glued to your face and you're breaking out, it's time to try other options.
